SKULK

skulk, v.to move stealthily; to lurk with intent.

A girl who buries her magic to survive — and hides among the hunters paid to find people exactly like her.

The Book

SKULK

Marcey Anhelo has spent her life learning to disappear.

Her power once took everything from her, so she buries it deep and signs on with Skulk — the order that tracks and collects wielders like her. The safest place to hide is behind the hunt.

Then her first mark turns out to be a gifted child, one who carries the same dangerous gift Marcey has spent years pretending she doesn't have. Protecting the girl means breaking everything she's built to stay invisible. Walking away means leading the girl to her death. For the first time, staying hidden may cost more than getting caught.

For readers of Moira Buffini's Songlight and Deborah Falaye's Blood Scion, with the haunted heart of The Last of Us.
